Tita Fannies to open in Manila

Tita Fannies Liempo and Chicken Haus is set to open tomorrow, December 8, 2012 at 3H N. Ramirez corner Sto. Tomas, Quezon City, Philippines. Yes, for the first time, an Iligan-based restaurant reaches Manila to offer the crispiest liempo and tastiest lechon manok to the customers. It is the 10th franchised store, hence a total of 18 branches of Tita Fannies Liempo and Chicken Haus.
“I am very excited that finally, we will be opening the store tomorrow. After the many challenges we faced during the planning stage, we will be offering liempo de lechon and lechon manok to the people of Manila,” said Mr. Maverick Rotap, the franchisee.

“We congratulate Mr. Maverick and thank him for choosing Tita Fannies among others. We are also excited for this undertaking because for the first time, we have a new branch in Luzon,” said Mrs. Nilda P. Onque, the proprietor.

Tita Fannies started in Iligan on November 18, 1999. From a 100-square meter restaurant, Tita Fannies became bigger to cater the needs of customers. The house specialty includes LIEMPO DE LECHON and LECHON MANOK.  Over the years, the company has consistently provided customer satisfaction. With overwhelming demand from the customers, the family expanded their business by opening branches in Iligan and Cagayan de Oro City. The company also engaged into franchising whereby interested entrepreneurs are granted the right to make Tita Fannies their business.

This is indeed a breakthrough that Iliganons should be proud of. Kudos to the very owners of Tita Fannies Liempo and Chicken Haus, to the franchisees and to all the employees.

To the people of Manila, this is something that is worth a try and you too would be convinced of the company’s tagline, “Katikim-tikim, Katakam-takam, Ang Sarap Balik-balikan…”

CENTRIO AYALA MALL to open in CDO

Centrio Ayala Mall will be opening its doors to customers this coming November 9, 2012 at Cagayan de Oro City. Located just across Gaisano Mall, Centrio envisions to be the best destination in Northern Mindanao offering shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment venues for ultimate customer satisfaction. “Where adventure begins” serves as a tagline of Centrio – an image they would like potential customers to experience.
CENTRIO is a brandname coined after “center and the river.” Its location and CDO being famous for its river serve as bases for having such a name after undergoing a massive market research.  CENTRIO emphasizes the essence and beauty of nature as they preserve 2 acacia trees within a 3.7 hectare land. It inspired the management to present a beautiful landscaped garden with acacia tree as a natural attraction in the convergence area – further including it in the logo of Centrio.

“We are excited to showcase this ‘first in CDO concept’ which will be our competitive edge”, said Ms. Justine, Marketing Supervisor of Centrio. “Our merchandising mix team facilitated the composition of tenants/lessees including the hotel and offices to cater the needs of the different target markets”, she added.
With 35 dining options and over a hundred of various shops, customers will really have a wide array of choices. The anchors or major tenants of Centrio would be the Robinsons Department Store and Rustan’s Fresh. Added to it is the fully carpeted cinemas that could accommodate at most 300 viewers.

To everyone excited to visit Centrio Mall, doors will be opened at 11:00 o’clock in the morning of November 9, 2012. Catch Anne Curtis perform live on November 10 as well as El Gamma Penumbra of Pilipinas Got Talent on the 11th.

PENGUINS OR DOLPHINS???

Alongside the national highway of Iligan City is a display of cute penguin balloons. The exhibit created a buzz among passersby, wondering what those stuffs are. Are they really for sale or are they just simply a mere presentation of cute penguins… Hmmm…

For four days in a row, I always pass by the area going from Tibanga to the city and vice versa. With no exaggeration, it’s really attention catching. I kept on guessing if those are for sale or just a display. On my third day, I was seated near the driver of the jeepney and while I kept staring at the display, he shared that those are for sale, Php 65.00 for the small ones and Php 180.00 for the big ones. I then thought of a plan to buy one as a souvenir and to satisfy my curiosity about it.
September 28 came and the city organized PARADA sa ILIGAN, a civic parade participated by government entities, private sectors and other civic organizations. That very long parade has caused traffic that jeepney drivers decided to take a detour, leaving passengers before the Gaisano Mall. I managed to take a walk and voila!!! I stayed there for a couple of minutes and talked with the salesmen. I was really excited then to buy one and I handed over a hundred peso. Hmmm, there was an instant promo wherein I could have two stuffs for only Php 100.00. With no further questions, I took it, happily bringing two cute stuffs that could make me smile everytime I see it. Hmmm… Longing satisfied… J

Take a look at this photo:
 Are these penguins or dolphins?

If you think these are penguins, we are on the same boat and if you find it as dolphins, you are a keen observer :D Congratulations!!!

It makes me laugh that most of the people I asked what those stuffs are, they would say those are penguins. Later did they realize that those are really dolphins. Yes, no kidding… Just take a look at its fin :D  and of course, the name indicated in the balloon. :D
If you thought its penguins, don’t worry, because at one glance, they really look as one. Blame it to the producer for making it look as penguins, or thank them because they make the stuffs more cute and attractive J Whatever that is, they really make people smile and appreciate it for its unique beauty J
